Founded in 1985, Nigerwives Enugu had 41 paid-up members at the end of 2022.  Aside from offering support to each other in good times and bad, we are a group committed to service.  With funds raised through our charity bazaar, we support the work of organizations devoted to poverty alleviation, education for children with special needs, prison inmates, the mentally ill and health care.  An area of direct assistance is the Special School for the Blind at Oji River.  Current concerns include revitalizing our calendar of programs and increasing activities for our families, such as get-togethers and children’s library services.
