Greetings to all our sisters from Abeokuta Branch.

For us here in Abeokuta, 2017 was a year that brought lots of joy, blessings, togetherness and peace with many Joyful celebrations, special birthdays, wedding of Children and arrival of grandchildren.

We celebrated Laila’s 75th birthday with a party at her School St.Brigitta in February .We continued to meet on the third Saturday of each month at our various homes or occasionally at the Green Legacy Hotel Resort.

Regina’s son Michael got married in Ilorin in March and Barbara’s husband had a book launch in April which was well attended by members.

In May we hosted the Ibadan Nigerwives at Regina’s Residence which was a successful event enjoyed by everyone. We provided various dishes and the Ibadan members supported us with cakes, mini pizza's etc and also had enough drinks to ensure we had a memorable day. Soledad celebrated her 60th birthday with a cake and Maggie from Ibadan also celebrated her 66th Birthday (Her birthday being on the next day)
