PROJECT ACCHIEVE

Our center for children with special needs is running smoothly. The teachers and aid are very dedicated and try their best to ensure that pupils are well cared for, thus ensuring that the parents and guardians are happy with their children progress.

We were able to have the centre’s end of year celebration where food and drinks was provided for pupils and staff with gifts for the children. This took place two weeks before their Xmas break.

Early November we started preparation for phase II of the Acchieve centre building. The land was cleared and blocks moulded.

On 18th December, the foundation stone laying ceremony was held, with most of our members and two of our husbands in attendance. Two Catholic priests were invited to give the foundation and us their blessings.

Commencement of this second phase was made possible with donations from various kind hearted individuals within and beyond our borders. The largest portion of our funds came from fund raising event organized by Miss P. Asedegbega, her friends and colleagues in Spain.

A big thanks also goes to Johnny Amadasun who is always there to supervise when workers are on the site.
