APOLOGIES

Apologies to all our sisters for the inability to hold the 2018 Annual General Meeting in Kaduna, due to current security challenges.  We in Kaduna hope you will understand we could not guarantee your safety.

 

BRANCH MEMBERSHIP

Kaduna Branch has 22 paid up member as at Dec 2017

 

DATE & TIMES OF MEETINGS

General meetings take place, approximately every six(6) weeks punctuated by a few social get-togethers throughout the year.

AGM IBADAN 2017 ATTENDANCE

Josephine Mohammed – Trustee, and then Vice President Natalie Deganga, were present at the AGM as delegates from Kaduna Branch.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES   

• New Year party: was held at Josephine Mohammed’s home on 14thJan., 2017

• Marriages: Norma Jubrilu’s son got married on 25th May 2017

• New Grandparents: Gyorgyi Ejiofoh’s son had a baby girl on 27th July 2017

• Get-together: It was held at Carmen Otigba’s home on 19th Aug., 2017

• Birthday Invitation: We celebrated:

  • Elvira Alifia on 12th May, 2017

  • Josephine Mohammed on 15th July 2017

• Fun Day/Bazzar: Was held successfully on 3rd Dec, 2017, at Mary Travis School

 

Branch Executive Election 

It was held on 6th May 2017 for a two(2) year tenure (2017-2019)

DONATIONS/SPONSORSHIPS

Local Projects One hundred (100) bags of School Supplies and Personal Hygiene products were provided for the students of KASSES.

​

The Branch sponsored a Visually Impaired (VI) student Ishaya Ayuba, who received N65,000 to cover some of his expenses at UNIJOS on 5th May 2017. 

The branch received a N27, 000 donation in May, 2017 from overseas sent by Emily Ejiofoh Aziza (daughter of Gyorgyi Ejiofoh), towards our local projects.

 

The branch also donated N30, 000 to KASSES students for their Saturday Music Project in May, 2017
