2016 ANNUAL REPORT

MEMBERSHIP

Our branch welcomed three new members.  They are:
Anita Ageh (Indian)
Ann Ukpong (Indian)
Aniko Mgbangson (Hungarian)Thus, this year we have had 10 members. 

ACTIVITIES

Meetings were hosted this year by Svetlana Idio at Satelite Town Hotel, Traudl Sama and Johanna Asuquo at their respective homes. New member, Aniko Mgbangson, also hosted us in her house before she moved with her family to Abuja.
We missed Maria Nkanang at our meetings due to a fall and fracture she sustained in her house soon after arriving back from a visit with her family. Karen Wilson-Ama’echefu travelled to be with her daughter who had to undergo surgery. Johanna, Svetlana and Ruth Akpan also travelled out of Nigeria to see daughters and grandchildren.                 
Barbara Obott was blessed with a great granddaughter making her a great grandmother. Trauld Sama’s second great grandchild, a grandson, was also born during the year. Johanna and Svetlana were also blessed with grandsons.
In December, we celebrated Traudl Sama’s 77th birthday.
